With each years Halloween theme comes the new challenge of exterior decor. In my opinion the front entrance of any party sets the mood for the entire evening. With this years circus theme I really wanted to make it look like the entrance to a circus tent. And while its no where near being done here is what I managed to accomplish today anyways...
I think when we get closer to Halloween I might tack up tent walls to the sides of the porch and light it from with in with creepy shadows shining out. I have some black pennant flags on order that I am going to stream out from the balcony to the ground below, and I am also going to wrap thick red ribbon around the columns to really create a grand entrance.
But for now this will do. :)
