Funky DIY Clock Post

 A few weeks ago I stumbled across this reproduction wall mount brass clock. How could I pass up a clock that had my name on it? 

And for the last month or so I have been wondering what I was going to do with it. It wasn't until I was flipping through an old magazine that it suddenly hit me! How perfect is this?

So I stopped off to Lowes and got all my supplies and set off to work painting....

And after a few minutes of sanding and distressing we brought it into the house to settle into its new home.

I havent quite figured out whats going to go around it but for now this will do.
