Over the last few weeks I have been gathering items for redoing / updating our living room area. After having the same color scheme for four years- I felt it was high time I implemented a few changes to the palette. I still love earth tone colors, browns and greens especially- so I decided to keep them and add in splashes of bright colors to really bring some life into the room.
I still have some things I ordered off Etsy that haven't come in yet, so its not entirely finished but its pretty darn close. I would love to hear what everyone thinks or if they would change anything- so don't forget to give me a shout out!
Isn't she lovely? Both Mr. Major and I adore our new coffee table / train cart. This is one piece of furniture we don't mind putting our feet on!
Lots of fun vintage finds...
I snagged these industrial sign letters from a awesome little shop out in St.Petersburg.
Fun collections on display.
A grubby milk crate doubles now as a wine bottle holder... how cute is that?
The Apple Painting finally hung on display. Its an original art piece painted by my mother and framed with barn wood by my dad.
Our old coffee table now doubles as a window seat complete with burlap throw pillows.
More vintage collections....
Love to hear what you all think!

Victoria,
ReplyDeleteI adore your train cart coffee table. Your mother's painting, which I dubbed "Apples of my Eye" looks beautiful above the sofa.

Great job! I love the coffee table. And I got 2 ideas from you, I have the same milk crate...doing that and I have small old wooden spools going in one of my ball jars.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful treasure to have from both parents, love the picture!
