"One mans trash, is another mans treasure." -Unknown
Today will mark the start of a new trend for my humble blog. Since I so enjoy junk of all kinds, I here-by deem each Monday as 'Trash & Treasure Monday'! I so enjoy reading about all of your finds and treasures and I think its high time I create a common place for everyone to share their wonderful finds, and perhaps even get some answers to questions on a particular item.
I figured it has been a while since I have shared some of my weekend finds with you, and lately my luck has held out in the form of bees! Which just happens to be a personal weakness of mine.
Okay, I know its a bit cheesy but how cute is this sweet little bumble bee watering tin? It has seen its better days but I think it has found a new home in my window.
I stumbled upon this wonderfully detailed pewter honey pot at the SilverMoon Market, it needs a good cleaning but should fit in perfectly with the rest of my bee decor.
This was another find at that market- matching bee skep salt and pepper shakers. Seriously who could resist?
This is the last of my bee finds, which is a cream container for serving tea.
But, I think the best of my Monday finds would have to be this pristine vintage table cloth my mother found for my dining room.
It matches the painting she is nearly finished with for this room! I know I started this weeks a bit late in the game, so in the future I will try to have these posted before noon on Mondays. If anyone would like to join in on "Trash & Treasure Monday" feel free to post the icon below on your post and leave me a comment each week so I can admire your wonderful finds!

Victoria,
ReplyDeleteYou are accumulating quite a bee collection! I especially like the detailed pewter honey pot and porcelain creamer. The tablecloth is beautiful and the contrast with your black furniture is stunning. I'll participate next Monday!
Your Friend,
Deborah
You are a girl after my own heart! I'll post the milk glass pieces I just got, I love that tablecloth - it looks great in your dinning room. Kathy
